about Phlash:

Phlash trolleys provide quick, easy, and economical transportation around the downtown Center City area. The purple trolleys make 20 stops throughout Center City at key destinations from Penn's Landing to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, dropping riders off within steps of city attractions, historic landmarks, and most downtown hotels. During the summer, a special Zoo Link trolley runs to the Philadelphia Zoo from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A Phlash route is available online. Phlash trolleys run approximately every 12 minutes, moving in a continuous loop around the city. Riders that miss their stop can just sit back and wait to come back around. Tickets can be purchased at the Independence Visitor Center at 6th and Market Streets or aboard the trolley.
