Pictograph Cave State Park is located along a sandstone cliff line and includes three caves. Two of the caves contain evidence of habitation that dates back more than 4,500 years. Visitors can follow a paved trail and view the rock paintings that are still visible in one of the caves. Interpretive signs tell the story of Montana's first archaeological studies and excavations.
Park facilities include three picnic table with grill rings.
