Managed by the SF Rec & Parks Dept, the camp offers games, hikes, evening campfires, nature exploration, arts & crafts, and special events.

Registration: is a two-step process. Step 1; parents complete a family account form in person available at McLaren Lodge, 501 Stanyan Street. Bring two proofs of residency (phone, PG&E bill, tax, etc.) that match your California Driver's license or DMV identification and proof of birth of all your children. Step 2; Walk in sign up is at Kezar Pavilion, 755 Stanyan, from 9am to 2pm. Check the website or call for registration deadlines and procedures.

Each child is limited to three one-week sessions.

Take a right off 19th Ave onto Sloat Blvd; make a right on Vale into Stern Grove. Street parking can be found but arrive early on performance days. Muni 23,28, 28L

2011 has brought changes to Pine Lake. With new managers Robbie Roller & Mike Xiaver, I was reluctant to enroll my kids for more than a week at a time. Was told last summer that there was NOT going to be a camp this year. To our surprise, it is back & even BETTER than ever!!!! New managers did a great job in adding swimming, outings ECO Education & other organized activites. The managers & staff are amazing! Thank you SFRec Dept for coming through with a better than ever Pine Lake! This is an amazing camp now!!!

2011 has brought Pine Lake Day Camp to new levels! New managers Robbie Roller & Mike Xiaver have created structure & organization to an already good camp; making it a GREAT camp now! Swimming, outings, ECO Education & other activites make this an interesting & fun Camp! Was worried at first, was told there was not going to be a Camp this year BUT it is better than ever! Thank You SFRPD, you came through with the right guys for the Camp! Your managers & counselors are simply amazing!!! I have added more weeks of summer fun at Pine Lake for my two kids; they love the place!!!! Keep up the good work!!!

This is a great day camp, and one of the least expensive I've found even at the non-resident rate. My son had a blast last summer and this summer we'll sign up for two weeks. He was tired and dirty every night. After the first day drop off and pick up are a breeze thanks to the Junior counselors walking kids from the drop off point to camp.

Our child had a great time building forts, playing outdoor camp games and making friends. This is a good ol' fashioned summer camp.
