When you really need to cool down, Pines Ice Arena offers public ice skating, group and private lessons, instructional hockey classes, youth and adult hockey leagues...and parties! Two rinks equal twice the fun.

Public skating is held Mon-Fri from 10am-3pm, and weekends from 10am-5pm.

The Skating School offers a variety of skating programs from Private Lessons to Group Classes. These programs are designed for the very beginner to the most advanced skater.

Group lessons are available in eight-week increments for kids ages four and up, and cost $125 per session. Classes run 45 minutes, followed by a complimentary skating session. Classes are limited to 12 children per instructor.

Private lessons are also available for any individual who would like to learn to skate on a one to one basis with an ice instructor. Private lesson fees are set by the individual instructors, and can be arranged to suit your schedule.

The Pre-Hockey Program at Pines Ice Arena is geared toward teaching children from the ages of four to 17 the fundamentals of ice hockey. Classes are offered in eight week increments, and each class has a duration of 45 minutes. The in-house league is open to kids ages six to 17. Private ice hockey lessons are also available.

Birthday parties at the Arena run $12.50/child for a two hour party, or $17/child for a four hour party if the party is held on a weekday. On weekends, parties cost $17/child. A ten-child minimum is mandatory. Party packages include admission to the rink, skate rental, a slice of pizza or hot dog, drink, popcorn, balloons, invitations, live DJ, complimentary gift for the birthday child, and birthday announcement.

The party rooms are an additional expense, from $25 for two hours to $35 for four hours.
