I've taken my kids there a couple times this summer. We live in the Springs and had never been there. What a great place!!! you can take the whole family and not go broke!!! I have an 8 yrs. old and a 2 yrs. old and they both love it!! The 8 yrs. old even picked Pirate Cove over Elitches for our next day trip?!!
I love that I can stay with my 3 year old and trust that my 7&9 year old are safely nearby. The food is yummy and not TOO expensive, and the park is well laid out!
This place is great because it gives us a lot of things to do instead of having 1 water slide and pool. We go here frequently, although some of the food there isn't good, once I got very cold burnt pizza there. But it is still a very good place to come.
The pools aren't kept clean enough from my point. The park is fun but not a great place as for cleanliness. Also is much more focused for younger children not as much pre teens and teens.
My 5 year old girl loves this place and I love it because its safe and I can relax as well. Pirate cove is bigger, better and with more variety, then 6 flags and Splash. As long as I live any where in Denver, this is the place I will continue to come because its worth it to see the excitment on my daughter's face when she goes there. You will get addicted too once you visit Pirate Cove.
My two year old daughter and I went there for a birthday party this weekend. We had a great time, the place is set up for family fun and for the young ones. The only thing that bothered me is that there was not enough places to sit.
My kids love this spot and I can take them as often as I like without blowing the household budget. You can also bring in your own food, providing it's nothing they sell on the premises)and spend a day in the sun with few worries. Great spot!
