The Platt Branch of the LA Public Library offers several programs for children and teens, and a grandparent is available to read to children through the Grandparents and Books program; call the branch for times. Preschool Storytime(2-4 yrs) is usually on Tuesdays at 10:30am; be sure to confirm before heading out. A summer reading program from June through August and Story Hour and Crafts throughout the year are offered as well. Internet classes for children and adults are also available.

There is a small parking lot on the west side of the library (entrance on Victory Boulevard); street parking is also available. The building is handicapped accessible.
