First and foremost, Playground World is a giant, well, playground store. Playground World carries basketball systems, trampolines, Step2 toys (and home and garden items), plus a great selection of Brio train sets and accessories, and of course, playground sets and playhouses. And, when the kids' toys don't fit in the garage anymore, it may be time to look at the nifty garage organizing systems Playground World carries. But enough about shopping - our favorite Playground World locations are also Play Zones. At a Play Zone location, the showroom is also a playroom. Play Zones offer free play sessions for children under eight on designated weekday mornings (schedules vary by location) and play dates for groups can be scheduled on other weekday mornings, by prior arrangement with the store's manager. Play dates cost $5 per child, per hour. Play Zone locations also offer parties, which can be scheduled on weekdays year round and on weekends from October - February. Parties last two hours, are designed for up to 14 children, and must include a supervising adult. Party costs range from $119-$179.
