It's funny how different the experiences of people can be. Well, I've not ever been to any one portrait studio that every single time provided me or anyone else I know with the most perfect experience on a consistent basis (when children involved). But I'm very happy with how Portrait Innovations works for me. They require no reservation deposit. They do not charge for each person you add to your portrait session. They do not charge for clothing changes. After your portrait session they show you over 36 poses to choose from on a big plasma screen. A photo CD of your favorite pose is included. There is a portrait package special of over 40 portraits for only $9.95. That even includes 6 portrait greeting cards. So far, all my portrait appointments have been great. While we're there, I usually see a lot of other customers who seem to be very happy with how their portrait sessions were going. Portrait Innovations also has a lot of great Christmas portrait cards. You can walk out of the studio with your portraits in hand. That is hard for any studio company to beat. Often when I read consumer complaints, it has to do with portrait sessions which involved babies and/or children. Now the lady photographer at the Duluth Portrait Innovations studio is fantastic with children. But sometimes babies just aren't feeling well and children sometimes just don't cooperate as needed. This can really stress out customers who are hoping for perfect portraits. But the best thing to do is simply reschedule and don't blame the photographer or studio operation. Especially when Portrait Innovations is a multi-million dollar operation with studios in over 35 states . . . THEY must be doing something right. So I would like to suggest to people who have babies and children to relax during your portrait sessions.
