The Power & Light District is the downtown KC hotspot for entertainment, retail, and dining. The district links Bartle Hall with Sprint Center and provides the downtown with much needed entertainment and eating options including Famous Dave's Barbecue, Chefburger, the Bristol Seafood Grill, and Lucky Strike Lanes.
The Power & Light District marks a first for downtown KC - a downtown walking experience complete with broad, brick-paved sidewalks, extensive landscape, fountains, fire pits, parks and outdoor seating. Within the nine-block district is the one-block, Kansas City Live! that features a covered center atrium and stage for live music and family festivals. Kansas City Live! is directly across from Sprint Center near 14th Street and Grand.
Families should be aware that within the Power and Light District (including Kansas City Live!) open containers of alcoholic beverages are allowed.
All orange marked parking lots and garages are only $2 for parking with validation from any of the establishments within the District.

Sprint presents the FREE Family Fun Days event series every third Saturday of the month from May through October in the KCP&L District from 11am-3pm.

Beach Party featuring Mr. Stinky Feet, water activities, Sugar Free All-Stars Hula Dance, Sand Art & more
