The Providence Performing Arts Center was opened as a Loew's Movie Palace in 1928. It was designed by George and C.W. Rapp of Chicago, brothers who became renowned as one of the finest teams of theater architects in America.

Camp Broadway is a summertime performing arts camp for children ages ten through 17, and includes singing, dancing, acting, master classes, and guest speakers.
