Pump it Up in Poway is a super fun place for kids as well as adults. We have had 3 parties there for my kids between 4 and 6. I will say, the staff is young and not really involved which is okay because the kids will have more than enough to stay entertained anyway...but they expect you to tip the staff on top of the high price of the party. The package prices are very expensive now compared to a few years ago. I used to pay $180 for a classic party and it has now increased to $295. Poway is more expensive than the other locations which is expected. Unfortunately, the only food you can have is packaged snacks unless you order pizza, and it has to be from them. The pizza is about 4 times the price of a normal pizza and tastes like cardboard. About $2.95, 2 very small slices per kid or adult that accompanies them. All together an extra $100 for 2 pizzas and a couple 2 liters. My kids arent crazy about pizza so that is kind of dissappointing. I would honestly give this place 5 stars other than those few things. This year we actually have found many other places that actually have normal prices and great reviews in the Poway area.

It's too wild for me, as a parent of an 11 yr old boy. The boys get too aggressive.

I had my 4 years old birthday day in January, they told me as long as kids 2 years old. they can go into the play room. But on the event day, they check every kids's height and have to be 32 inches in order to play... I bought in some party food to serve, they forgot to serve and never called us back nor return the party food to us. And I left message and send email to complaint. Never response it back for follow up... Three families left for my son's birthday party due to their children cannot go in the play area. Staff in the play area not friendly. Check on his watch every 10 minutes.. NOT recommended to any parents for their children's party if they are under 32 inches tall or 2 years old

We have now had two parties at the Chula Vista Pump It Up location and couldn't possibly be more pleased. The facility is immaculate! The staff stayed in the activity room and organized all of the relays and provided constant supervision insuring the safety of my children and their guests. Both parties started on time and moved smoothly from the activity room to the eating area. The pizza was hot and delicious and the we had enough for everyone without carrying home leftovers. Hosting a party here was so easy....everything was done for me which allowed me to spend quality time enjoying my children's special celebrations. The kids left exhausted and happy and the parents had a great time too. Thumbs up Pump It Up!

The Pump it Up off of Mira Mesa Blvd is awesome! It's family run and very personal. We had my 3 year old son's birthday party there and the adults had more fun than the kids :) Highly recommended!

I had my 6 year old daughter's birthday there, thinking it was going to be a great experience, but I was also wrong. The staff, was not polite, some were also playing with eachother, not with the guests. The place is okay, but It would be better if it was run by a different staff/co. The food, was delayed, they served pizza from a regular pizza place. I could have just driven there myself, and would have not payed triple the price. I honestly do not recommend this place. Chuck E cheese.. will be alot better.

The play was fun but the staff was very unprofessional. We initially went into Pump It Up and were promised that they would entertain the kids and try to provide everything for you to ensure a stress free environment. WRONG! From the time that we started to the end of the party, it was a hassle. They lost some of our food for our party and we ended up being short. Also prices that were quoted to us the day before were completely incorrect from what they charged us and we had 1/2 as many kids show up. I would say for our first time, the experience was horrible.

We have enjoyed going to birthday parties at Pump It Up so much that we are having my (soon-to-be) four year old's birthday party there in April. PIU is not just fun for kids but for adults as well. Whenever we get a party invitation in the mail to a "Pump It Up" party both my child and my husband do a happy dance! It's a great outlet for all that toddler energy but also a place where grown-ups can participate and remember what it was like to be a kid again! You can do as much or as little as you like in the planning of the party. The staff will do everything for you if you would like them to - food, decorations, music, drinks! It couldn't be any easier or more fun!
