About Pump It Up
Kids can jump, bounce, climb, and slide at Pump It Up, the award-winning "inflatable party zone." The climate-controlled arenas are filled with huge inflatable structures and provide a great space for birthday parties (which include private arena use, rather than just admission during public hours). Doors open at other times for Pop-In Playtimes and a variety of scheduled programs. Typically, parents are required to remain on-site while kids play.
Classes & Camps: Select Pump It Up locations now offer PumpStart classes designed to build motor and social skills through music, games, and structured activities, and Jump-N-Art programs, which combine art projects, playtime, and structured activities during winter, spring, and summer breaks. Contact your nearest Pump It Up for details on what it offers.
Parties: Two-hour parties include exclusive use of the arena and lots of supervised bounce time, followed by time in a party room for treats and gift opening (with tableware provided). Parties can be customized with add-on options such as invitations, pizza, drinks, cake, balloons, and goodie bags. Parents can bring in cake and beverages. Shorter, smaller parties are available on a limited basis.

Don't forget: Every party guest needs socks and a parent-signed waiver! We suggest printing copies from the website to send out with the invitations.

- My kids LOVE Pump It Up (we usually go to the Shawnee Mission location). Adults can get on the inflatables to play with or help younger kids. We've had a couple of birthday parties here and attended numerous pop in playdates and they are always great! There was one time I went that they let in too many people and it was ridiculously overcrowded, but that is not usually the case.

[Submitted by Anonymous5/27/09 - I think John is referring to Pump It Up in Olathe. They never answer their phone. I live closer but go to Shawnee Mission Pump It Up because they always answer and are much nicer.

[Submitted by Andrea7/18/08 - We tried to catch one of the open play sessions for our daughter who is 3. It was vey difficult to get anyone to answer the phone, and once we did the gentlemen was not very helpful.
