The Ramada Mall of America, formerly the Thunderbird Motel (remember the Totem Pole?), has been refurbished into a 255-room full-service hotel with a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and an on-site restaurant and gift shop. In the common areas, much of the somewhat-hokey Native American theme from the Thunderbird era is still apparent.
