RDV Sportsplex & Ice Den553

Home to the offices and training areas for the Orlando Magic professional basketball team, the RDV Sportsplex is a relatively new state-of-the-art fitness and recreation facility. It features an athletic club, tennis center, ice rink, spa, and more.

With programs designed specifically for kids, both members and non-members can take advantage of fitness offerings that are fun and educational. Parent & Child classes, swim lessons, and team swimming offer family members of every age the chance to enjoy the acquatics program. With the Magic so close, it's no wonder that the "Learn to Play" instructional basketball classes are so popular. JV and Varsity Basketball programs also keep high schoolers prepped for the upcoming seasons. Tennis classes and clinics keep kids fit and teach them about teamwork.

The Ice Den has two ice skating rinks, concessions, an arcade, and party rooms. The public can skate daily and private figure skating instruction, hockey games, and ice shows also occur throughout the year. Since Florida sees little weather that would warrant keeping a pair of ice skates in the house, rentals are available onsite.

One of the best highlights of the center is Kid's Stuff, a supervised child-care facility for kids six months to 12 years old whose parents are using the fitness center. Kids can choose from fitness activities, arts and crafts, video games and more while parents work out. With center members that are First Aid and Infant/CPR certified, you can feel secure leaving your kids.

Birthday parties: For a party full of activity where kids are encouraged to run around and act crazy, the Sportsplex offers a two-hour package in Kid's Stuff with floor hockey, scooter races, parachute play, a moon walk and more. Ice skating parties are also available in the Ice Den and include a DJ, a private party room, pizza, drinks, skate rentals, and more.
