Redeemer Lutheran School offers a traditional, religion-based education for all children in kindergarten through the eighth grade. The religious instruction at the school follows the doctrine of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Students attend a religion class four days out of the school week, and an on-site chapel service one day a week. Besides religion, the school teaches the basics (math, science, reading, etc.), and even some arts programs (art, band, music). Sports programs are offered to children in grades five through eight. The on-site library and computer lab is used by all grades. All students are given the Stanford Achievement Test once each year in the spring. Test scores for the school are around 80% or higher. The student to teacher ratio for all grades at the school maxes out at 25:1. Most classes come in around 22:1. Most students from
Redeemer Lutheran School continue on to
Salt Lake Lutheran High School or
Judge Memorial Catholic High School.
