Remlinger Farms, located about 40 minutes by car from Seattle, is a popular spring, summer, and fall farm destination for area families.
Most popular here is the farm's Country Fair Family Fun Park (open May-Sept), which includes pony rides, farm animals, a hay maze, mini roller coaster and other kiddie rides, and a steam train ride around the property. The steam ride is a big hit with the kids - avoid potential long lines on summer weekends by visiting during the week. If you're looking for an amusement park in the country, this place is for you - if you're looking for a quiet working farm experience, look further.
During October, the farm opens on weekends for a Fall Harvest Festival that includes a U-Pick pumpkin patch, good live entertainment, additional rides, and farm tours. Call to schedule a tour on weekdays during October - tours include live entertainment, farm animals, access to the corn maze and hay jump, a ride on the steam train, a pioneer village, and a pumpkin to take home. Reservations are required. Tours are also offered during berry season (usually June through Aug) and U-Pick berry fields are open. The farm provides containers and you pay only for what you pick. Other attractions include a full-service restaurant, direct farm market, and craft showcase. Don't forget to pick up a couple of U-Bake pies to take home.

getting there:
From Seattle: Take I-5 southbound to I-90 eastbound. Take I-90 to the Preston/Fall City exit (#22).
Follow the signs through Preston into Fall City. At the stop sign in Fall City, go right over the Snoqualmie River Bridge. Take an immediate left on the other side of the bridge. Travel north on Hwy 203 and continue toward Carnation five miles until you see the Remlinger Farms' sign. Turn right onto NE 32nd St (in front of sign). This road dead ends at Remlinger Farms. Plenty of on-site parking, but it can be muddy.
