The Richard B. Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts in Clearwater is a multi-venue facility offering a host of events annually.
Ruth Eckerd Hall, which seats 2,180 for concerts recitals, plays, and other special events, including regular performances by the Florida Orchestra. The hall was nominated one of the top five concert halls in the nation by the industry's technicians, artists, and their management.
The Margarete Heye Great Room, located on the third floor of the center, accommodates up to 400 (depending on seating) for various events including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate parties, and other special occasions.
The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute houses the center's on-site educational programs, and has been recognized as the largest arts education program of its kind in the state. The facility features multi-functional classrooms, rehearsal space, a dance studio, recording lab, and media center. It's also home to the center's touring theater group, Eckerd Theater Company.
The Murray Studio Theater seats 200 in a black box style, perfect for recitals, family programming, classes and special events which are best enjoyed in an intimate space.
