Richardson Bay Audubon Center is a wildlife sanctuary comprised of 900 acres of Bay waters and eleven acres of uplands. An easy, 3/4 mile loop trail leads to overlooks and two beaches. The site is also home to the Victorian Lyford House which displays artwork by artist John James Audubon.
There are many activities to engage children and adults at the Center. Adults can participate in environmental education workshops, Bay Shore Studies docent programs, and other meaningful volunteer projects.
Children can attend Audubon Adventures day camp, school science programs, birthday parties, and family events. Visitors are invited to participate in lectures, guided walks, and special events.
