Rienzi is the center for European decorative arts operated by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, comprising a remarkable art collection, a house, and more than four acres of lush woodlands and gardens.
Every Wednesday in June and July, storytime tours are offered from 10am to 11am, featuring age-appropriate stories that relate to Rienzi. Admission is free.
Hours and prices:
Guided tours: Wed-Fri by reservation only; Sat 10am-4pm, no reservations needed. Admission: adults $6; seniors, college students with ID, and children (12-18) accompanied by an adult $4. No children under age 12 are permitted on guided tours.
Open house: Sun 1pm-5pm. Admission: $5 for an individual; $10 for a family of two to four people; $15 for a family of five to six people; $20 for a family of seven to eight people. Families, including all children accompanied by an adult, are welcome on Sundays.
Self-guided garden tours: Wed-Sun 10am-4pm. Free admission. All ages are welcome.
