Best Day Camp, the 64-acre
Rio Grande Zoo is located in the Albuquerque BioPark, which also houses the
Albuquerque Aquarium and the
Rio Grande Botanic Garden.
The Zoo is home to over 250 species. Its habitats are nicely done and provide a glimpse into each animal's natural environment.
Educational programs, opportunities to interact with animals, tours, and a variety of special events are offered on a regular basis. Check our

For food and snacks, the
Cottonwood Cafe is located near the duck pond and bandshell. The Matunda Cafe and Phoenix Plaza Snack Bar are also on site; check the website for operating schedules.
Gift shops carry a variety of animal-themed toys, t-shirts, hats, and more.
