RiverQuest (formerly Pittsburgh Voyager) is a non-profit science and environmental educational organization offering river-based educational programs for students, teachers, groups, and the community. Private charters are available; proceeds benefit RiverQuest education programs.
Throughout the year, 90-minute public sails for individuals and families are offered aboard the RiverQuest fleet. Boats can be accessed via the pathway along the river, adjacent to the main parking lot at the Carnegie Science Center.
RiverQuest and the Carnegie Science Center team up to present River Camp, a five-day summer program for kids ages eight to 12 at the science center. Details and registration are available by calling 412.237.3400.
