RoboFun workshops offer children, ages three to 13, hands-on experience with LEGO Mindstorm Robotics, Video Game Design, Claymation Animation, Web Design, and Building Buddies.

Winter, Spring, and Summer Camps are offered as are Afterschool Clubs and One-Day Workshops for kids ages six to 13. Workshops are for preschoolers, ages three to five, are held on Saturdays. RoboFun also coaches robotic teams for competition. Beginners are welcome as are advanced inventors.

In the Video Game Design workshop, students design, illustrate, animate, and program media elements - including sound, text, moving and still images, illustrations, and animations - to create video games.

Children learn to build and program their own robots using LEGO pieces and a mini-computer during the LEGO Mindstorms Robotics workshop. In the Claymation Animation Station workshop, participants design and direct their own stop-motion animated masterpiece. The Web Design workshop teaches students how to design and develop their own website.

Preschoolers can foster their creativity in the brand new Building Buddies workshop. Youngsters build with materials such as LEGO Soft, LEGO Duplo, and others. Five year olds are introduced to LEGO bricks and motors, which allow them to become conversant in pre-mathematics, simple pre-engineering, and pre-robotics concepts.

Vacation Workshops and afterschool clubs (available at select public and independent schools) run throughout the school year. Five-day school holiday courses are held during winter and spring public and independent school vacations.

RoboFun Summer Camp begins in late June with week-long, full day or half day options.

Kids can build and download a program into the robots they build during Robofun birthday parties. Call for further information and make sure to book a date well in advance.
