It's the place where people are more serious about rock-n-roll than anywhere else. It's not a good place to take a newborn or toddler, but it's exactly where to take your tweens and your teens before you drive each other crazy over your musical differences. Besides, it just might be the coolest place in Cleveland.
The I.M. Pei-designed building is impressive inside and out; inside, however, it's easy to get distracted by exhibits that bombard your senses and the incredible array of memorabilia. (Our favorite items: Jim Morrison's boy scout uniform, and a rejection letter to U2 from a most certainly embarrassed talent scout.)
Our recommendation: plan to eat lunch here; you won't want to rush your visit at the Rock Hall, and the sandwich selection is very good.
If you're in to live music, or making your own, watch the Rock Hall's concert/class schedule online as summer offerings are excellent, and they fill up quickly.
