about Roger Williams Park:

Roger Williams Park is a 450-acre park that includes oak woodlands and large ponds. It was designed by Horace Cleveland in 1878 and was largely developed by 1896.

On the grounds is the Carousel Village, which features a Victorian carousel, pony rides, and the Hasbro Boundless Playground. The playground, opened in 2001, allows children with physical disabilities to enjoy at least 70% of the play activities without having to leave their support equipment behind.

Visitors can also take in some sight-seeing via paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, or an electric boat tour.

The memorial is located on North Main Street.
