about Rolling Hills County Park:

The 363-acre park offers nearly two miles of paved trails, three miles of nature trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, picnic tables, and grills located throughout the park.

From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, the water park is open. Additional park amenities include a pond with a handicapped accessible fishing pier and one indoor and six outdoor pavilions that accommodate parties of 12 to 200. There is a playground-level ball diamond, a sand volleyball court, and horseshoe pits (horseshoes are available for loan).

In winter, the park features a sledding hill, three miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, and a half-mile torch-lit ski trail. Toboggans, sledding tubes, and cross-country skiing equipment are available for rent.

getting there:

Located south of I-94 and east of US-23. From I-94, take the Huron Street exit (#183), and head south. Follow Huron to the traffic light past the Kroger's shopping complex. Turn right at the light onto Stony Creek. Proceed through two four-way stops; the park will be on the right side. From US-23, take the Willis Road exit (#31), and head east. Turn left at the second four-way stop, onto Stony Creek Road; the park is on the left.
