The administration could stand some improvement. The school/ administrators have implemented a health clinic, however I feel that too much focus has been given to the opening of the clinic. The school failed to meet AYP in 2006. Our student is on and above grade level, so we have heard from some of the staff that our child will not receive the same attention as a child that is struggling to meet the minimum standard for AYP. Our child's teacher struggles to work with the 30 children in the class. I understand that health is important, however there is not a good balance to meet a healthy education for our child. My rating of has some good points was given only because some of the staff really puts forth a genuine effort to their career. And the bad- the administrator seems to be looking out for number one. We are currently in a fight to improve the school, but unfortunately several of the neighborhood kids attend different schools or good families have moved to different school districts or school boundaries.
