Round House Theatre has two performance spaces, one in Bethesda, and one in Silver Spring.
The Bethesda space is the first Washington area professional theatre built from the ground up in more than a decade. A modified thrust playing space with a seating capacity of 400, the theatre is home to a subscription series of five professional productions, limited runs of alternative programming, and education and outreach activities. The Silver Spring venue is a flexible-use performance space with seating for 100-150 people. This space is home to a series of professional productions, shows for family audiences, presentations of new work, performances related to education and outreach programs, and more.
In addition to the stage productions, Round House is committed to providing educational theatre experiences for students throughout the region. Its offerings include special student matinees, a year-round theatre school (for ages four and up), spring and summer day camp programs, The Sarah Play Project, and an Apprentice Program.
