about Route 66 Park:

The largest playground in the Oklahoma City Parks Department, Route 66 Park provides a great place for the kids to play and also to learn a little history about the Mother Road. The Route 66 Plaza at the park depicts the route between Chicago and Santa Monica and highlights 34 landmarks along the way.

The park also features an three-story high observation tower that allows scenic views of Lake Overholser, ample walking trails, and several ponds with wetland boardwalks and bridges.

Route 66 Park is on the west side of Overholser Lake, just east of Kilpatrick Turnpike on NW 23rd.
