The park is lovely but the preschool I would not recommend to anyone. The preschool by the way does not use the park because it is to much for the teachers to keep track of. I truly feel that the teachers at the Roxbury preschool have been together for too many years and they have gotten very comfortable with their job to the point of becoming unjust able. I had my little one there for a week and every day I heard something negative nothing was ever good and they couldn't deal with my son not being able to sit totally still for story time. They complained about his energy but would give him a cup cake that was mostly sugar glazed for a snack. I asked them if they could put some more sun scream on him after lunch when they are out in the sun ( there is absolutely no shade in that park) and they would laugh it of and tell me that my son did not need it since he is a mixed child! They are lazy and will not put in the work on teaching your child how to work in groups they want them to know that before they get in the preschool. So if you have an active happy child that is a single child i DON'T recommend this preschool!! We went there for no more then 10 days they met my husband once or twice and had the nerves to tell me that my husband needed to be more involved. I truly feel like as if it was a racist place and wish this upon no one. Good luck in your such for a safe place for your little one and have a blessed day

We go to the park area all the time and my son loves the vast amount of sand and play structures. The only thing is that it is not very shaded and can be real scorching in the summer. We had his 1st birthday party in the club house and it was great. Reasonably priced and the older kids were free to go run around at the playground.
