Ruby Tuesday appears to have no connection to the popular Rolling Stones song for which it is named. Mick is conspicuously absent from the walls that are decorated with mass-produced local sports memorabilia. However confusing the name, it is a good place to take the kids. Children are greeted at the door with a balloon (which usually doesn't last through the meal). Fortunately, they're also weighted with crayons to eliminate to lost balloon stress. At the table, children will find a cup of crayons and a children's menu that doubles as an activity sheet. Hungry kids can choose favorites like chicken tenders, hamburgers, mac n' cheese, and grilled cheese sandwiches. The price for a kids' meal ranges from $2.49 to $4.49. Drinks and dessert are additional. The adult menu highlights big portions of the usual restaurant fare. Sandwiches, burgers, fajitas, and shrimp dishes top the choices. It does have a pretty good salad bar with offerings that are fresh and tasty. You may want to request a booth (there are a lot of them), as these allow for a lot of squirming. High chairs and booster seats are available, as is a changing table in the ladies' room. For those who prefer to dine in the comfort of their homes, Ruby Tuesday offers take out.
