Ruby Tuesday appears to have no connection to the popular Rolling Stones song for which it is named. Mick is conspicuously absent from the walls that are decorated with mass-produced local sports memorabilia. However confusing the name, it is a good place to take the kids. Children are greeted at the door with a balloon (which usually doesn't last through the meal). Fortunately, they're also weighted with crayons to eliminate to lost balloon stress. At the table, children will find a cup of crayons and a children's menu that doubles as an activity sheet. Hungry kids can choose favorites like chicken tenders, hamburgers, mac 'n' cheese, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Drinks and dessert are additional. The adult menu highlights big portions of the usual restaurant fare. Sandwiches, burgers, fajitas, and shrimp dishes top the choices. It does have a pretty good salad bar with offerings that are fresh and tasty. You may want to request a booth (there are a lot of them), as these allow for a lot of squirming.
