Running Around is the shoe counterpart to Kidding Around, next door. Babies to preteens can find shoes here from the standards of Stride-Rite, Elefanten, and Jumping Jacks; to Adidas, Skechers, Sam & Libby, Mimi, and Kenneth Cole.

The staff are generally good with children and take the time to measure feet, and give advice about sizing and selection (we even found out the best way to clean patent leather shoes). Though the majority of the shoe lines available here are moderate to expensive, the selection and service make this a worthwhile stop.

If you bring your used clothing, shoes and toys (in clean and good condition) to Kidding Around or Running Around you receive a 15% discount on clothing or shoes. This is definitely worth it. If you're replacing outgrown shoes or clothes, just bring them with you. They'll go to a local children's charity, and you'll get a discount on their replacements.
