SadieDey's Cafe, formerly known as Tumble & Tea, is a family friendly restaurant that provides homemade food, locally roasted coffee, free Wifi, over 1000 square feet of indoor playspace for kids under age five, and in-house helpers who engage the kids in fun activities.
Birthday party packages start at $275 for 10 kids ($15 for each additional child) and include party set up in a theme room (Princess, Wii, Pirate Treasure Hunt, and Cupcake Decorating Parties), a party coordinator, invitations, balloons, cups, plates, decorations, pizza, and juice for kids (adult pizza and platters available for an additional fee), a gift for each child, playtime in the playground, thank you cards, and a birthday present for the birthday child. All guests get a free pass for his/her next visit, too.

tips:
During Mother's Helper hours (10:30am-2pm, Mon-Fri), cafe staff entertain kids with stories and games while parents catch up on reading the paper or check e-mail.
getting there:
42nd and Telegraph in Historic Temescal, Oakland. If taking 24 west, take Telegraph exit or if heading east take 51st exit.
