The
Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Melbourne features a range of ministries geared to families, youth, and teens. These include JOY, the Junior Orthodox Youth program, which offers and GOYA, the Greek Orthodox Youth of America, for teens in grades seven through twelve.
Saint Katherine's offers
classes in Greek language, culture, and history for congregants age five through adult at its weekly
Greek School. Classes are held Tuesdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm, beginning each October. Registration begins in August. For more information on classes, email

Saint Katherine's also features its own
Bakaliko, or Greek grocery store, which sells feta cheese, olives, orzo, pastitchio noodles, and other imported and domestic staples of Greek cooking. The store, located at the Saint Katherine Community Center, is open Sundays after Divine Liturgy and closes at 1pm. Proceeds benefit the church.
