The Salt Lake City Ballet is a comprehensive classical ballet conservatory that uses the Vaganova curriculum. It offers dance training for all levels and ages, from pre-ballet to adult.

The school strives to help its students develop technical proficiency, artistry, discipline, and a love for dancing. Focus is on ballet, modern, and jazz, with ballet acting as the core and foundation for all other forms of dance.

The conservatory has a commitment to individualized dance training - helping all students (with the involvement of their parents) determine their goals for dance training and guiding the students toward achievement of these goals.

Specific classes offered include Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet classes for ages three to five, and the Classical Ballet Program for ages six to 20. Other classes include the Intensive Classical Ballet Program (ages 15 to 20), Ballet for Teens and Adults, jazz, modern dance, hip hop, and Theatre Dance. Workshops and Intensives are offered as well.

The conservatory offers a four-week contemporary and classical ballet summer intensive for students ages seven to 20. Call or check SLCBC's website for details.
