Salt Lake City International Airport is located five miles (15 minutes) northwest of downtown Salt Lake City. There are two terminals and five concourses (A-E) in the airport complex. Delta Air Lines and its commuter partners (including SkyWest) operate from Terminal Two. The other airlines serving Salt Lake City use Terminal One. A short-term parking terrace sits adjacent to the terminals.
Rental car companies are located on the lower level of the parking garage.
Children's play areas are located at the top of Concourses A, B, and E.
Creative Kidstuff, a store featuring children's games, toys, and gifts, is located at the top of the Concourse C. Several of the food and beverage concessionaires offer child friendly menu items and "to go" foods. Changing facilities are incorporated into the restrooms throughout the airport. A
Park 'N Wait lot is stationed at the airport entrance where people can wait in their vehicles for the planes they are meeting to arrive. Flight information is displayed on electronic signs, or arriving passengers can call for pick up curbside. This allows parents the ease of picking up a passenger without unloading children from the vehicle. The
Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau operates information desks in the lobbies of both terminals. Visit them for details on accommodations, restaurants, transportation, winter sports information, recreation, events, and attractions in Utah.
