About Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial
The Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, is guided by the spirit of its founder, who first extended an invitation in 1898 for "the world to come and learn art." This free-spirited school and community center hosts the nation's oldest tuition-free art school, featuring a wealth of children's and adult fine art classes. The school also hosts exhibitions, shows, concerts, and workshops that are open to the public.

Check regularly for lottery dates - classes fill up quickly!
Getting There
Located on Catharine Street, between South Seventh and South Eighth Streets. Parking is available in a lot just to the left of the school. Plenty of street parking is another alternative, if needed.

- Fleisher Art Memorial had a great atmosphere and an engaging art staff that enjoyed their jobs. My family especially enjoyed the Saturday morning/mid-afternoon classes.
