San Diego Skateworld is a giant indoor rink for in-line enthusiasts or regular roller skaters. The neon lighting and DJ evoke flashbacks of the '70's, for better or worse. There's also an arcade and snack bar.
Classes: Skating lessons are offered to all ages on a drop-in basis every Saturday from 9am-9:45am for $5.
Parties: This is a great place to host birthday party, particularly for hard-to-please older kids. An all-inclusive package for up to 10 children is just $99, $9.50 for each additional child.
Hours: Fri-Sat two sessions: 6:30pm-9pm and 8:30pm-11pm, Sun 1:30pm-6pm. Open Mon,Tue,Thu for private parties and special events. Practice skates available Wed & Fri 4pm-6pm and Sat 9am-11am.

tips:
Go on Sunday afternoon for the Family Discount Skate. From 3:30pm-6pm admission for up to five people (including at least one adult) is just $15, exclusive of skate rental.

Located 1 mile north of USD. From I-163, exit at Genesee Avenue west. Turn left onto Linda Vista Road.
