The San Diego Sports Arena (aka the Valley View Casino Center) hosts a multitude of visiting sports tours, including ice skating, the Harlem Globetrotters, monster trucks, and WWF.
Many different styles of music are represented in the yearly schedule of concerts. And when Ringling Brothers Circus comes to town, you will find it only at the The San Diego Sports Arena.
Cost varies by show. Most major credit cards are accepted and most event tickets can be purchased at the San Diego Sports Arena box office or by contacting Ticketmaster online or by calling 619.220.TIXS. Parking for major events averages $5 per car.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays bargains galore can be found at Kobey's Swap Meet - open from 7am-3pm. Swap meet admission is $1 per adult, and kids are free, as is parking for that event.

tips:
Arrive early for parking. For large shows it is a good idea to park early and walk to a nearby restaurant before the show.
The city bus system has a stop right in front of the arena.
getting there:
Located on Sports Arena Boulevard, between West Point Loma Boulevard and Rosecrans Street. From I-8 take the Rosecrans Street exit. Turn right at the third light, which is Sports Arena. Stay in the left lane and enter the parking lot on your right. From I-5 take the Sea World Drive exit and loop around on the Sports Arena exit. Continue for several miles and stay in the left lane. The parking lot is on your left.
