The San Diego Symphony Orchestra offers innovative programming that brings classical music to the entire community - and leaves them wanting more.
The Symphony has a strong commitment to arts education. Its community outreach programs bring music to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience classical music.
The Young People's Concerts not only entertain a future audience base, it also imparts the special benefits classical music can have on a young person's life. An annual competition is held for exceptionally talented young musicians.
The Symphony Concert Series runs from October through May, and includes concerts at Copley Symphony Hall, as well as other venues throughout San Diego.
The Summer Pops Series is offered July through September, and is presented in an outdoor amphitheatre.
