About Sandy Ridge Sanctuary

A natural habitat in the middle of Coral Springs, a walk through the Sandy Ridge Sanctuary provides the opportunity to observe and study an intact Florida ecosystem. All non-native plants have been removed and are kept out through regular maintenance.

Guided tours are available every first and third Saturday at 9am, or by appointment.

Tips

The highlight of any walk through Sandy Springs is the sight of a gray fox crossing the trail. These carnivores are the top predator at Sandy Ridge and help control the rodent population.
