About Santa Monica Pier
One of the oldest pleasure piers in the country, and a focal point of Los Angeles, the Santa Monica Pier is a historic landmark situated at the end of historic route 66.
At the Pier, families may enjoy an antique carousel, loads of street entertainment, a fishing balcony, Pacific Park, the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, a trapeze school, souvenir shopping, and fun food. It is also a great place to survey the Pacific Ocean and take in the delicious ocean breezes.
Watch our calendar for the latest information about the concerts on the pier every Thursday evening during the summer months, and kids' Saturday morning concerts, too.
Parking Fee: $6-$10 per car, depending on the season. A short term lot is also available below the Pier for $1 per hour (maximum two hours), or there are meters along Ocean. Free city parking (up to three hours) is available in lots adjacent to the Promenade.
