Santa Monica Public Library: Ocean Park050

The Ocean Park Branch Library serves the southwest corner of Santa Monica and nearby communities, such as Venice. It is the only Carnegie Library in Santa Monica and retains the look and feel of the historic building while providing up-to-date technology.

The library offers a variety of enrichment resources for families. Staff and professional performers offer several free storytimes, puppet shows, craft activities, and games targeted to various age groups, including bilingual storytime with 'Tia Olivia' in Spanish. There is a cozy picture book area with cushioned seating in which parents enjoy sharing books with their children. Students may prepare homework assignments at the library's computers, or enjoy playing computer games and searching the Internet. There is Wi-Fi Internet access for those who bring laptops to the library.
