Santee Lakes Regional Park and Campground is one of the premiere recreation facilities in San Diego. Centrally located near all of San Diego's major attractions, Santee Lakes uniquely combines country tranquility and city convenience.
Santee Lakes has seven lakes, five playgrounds, two pools, jogging trails, well-maintained playgrounds, bike riding paths, fishing, boat rentals, covered picnic areas that are available to accomodate parties on a reservation basis.
If thinking of camping, there are 300 full hook-up campsites (130 of the sites have cable, phone & WiFi!), laundry and shower facilities, a general store, and a clubhouse.

getting there:
Take Route 52 or 125 into Santee, exit Mission Gorge Road. Go east on Mission Gorge and turn left Carlton Hills Blvd. Turn left on Carlton Oaks Drive. Entry to Santee Lakes is on the right.
