about Schermerhorn Symphony Center:

Opened in 2006, Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center is a state-of-the-art facility that serves as the home of the critically acclaimed Nashville Symphony Orchestra. The Nashville Symphony performs more than 100 classical, pops, and special concert events each season in addition to recitals, choral concerts, cabaret, jazz, and world music events. The main performance venue is the Laura Turner Concert Hall.

Free tours of the building given by volunteer docents are available. Tours begin promptly from the West Atrium on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 1pm and last approximately 50 minutes. Reservations are not required for groups of fewer than 15 people. Larger groups can make a reservation by calling the Tour Hotline at 615.687.6580 at least 72 hours prior to the tour. Scheduled tours are subject to change; call the Tour Hotline for updated schedules.

getting there:

From Interstate: All interstates (1-65, I-40, I-24) connect to the downtown area. Exit on Broadway (east), and drive towards the downtown area. Take a right on Fourth Avenue, at the light directly after the Gaylord Entertainment Center. Schermerhorn Symphony Center is one block on the left. From Nashville International Airport: Follow loop out of airport - merge into lanes by taking a slight left, then take a slight right and merge onto I-40 W toward Nashville / I-65 / I-24. Take the US-31A S / Second Avenue / US-41A South / Fourth Avenue exit (Exit 210C). Turn right onto Second Avenue South. Turn left onto Demonbreun Street. Turn right onto Fourth Avenue South, Schermerhorn Symphony Center will be on your right.
