Scott Carpenter Park is home to the Boulder Skatepark, a large outdoor pool recreation facility, and a family friendly park with covered picnic facilities and great play equipment. The Skatepark is an unsupervised, skate-at-your-own-risk facility, open from dawn to dusk. The pool is open only in the summer. The park's topography makes it a great place for sledding.
