Scripps Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) provides a creative environment that instills self-confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork without sacrificing the core values of dance as an art form. The caring, professional instructors offer a wealth of experience, technical proficiency, and a love for teaching. The Academy features a spacious home for dancers and artists. Classes include training in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, drama, musical theatre, music appreciation, Mommy and Me, and FBO (For Boys Only). The ballet program offers students the opportunity to experience all that ballet has to offer, and prepares those determined enough for a professional career in dance. The Music Department offers private and group instrumental and vocal instruction with musicians who have outstanding credentials.
