Girls ages six to 18 perform with the
Seattle Symphony, sing on world-wide tours, give concerts all over the Puget Sound region, sing on the annual
Christmas Ship cruise, and record CDs.
Led by Artistic Director Jerome Wright, the choir offers
six levels of instruction, from beginning prep choir (ages six to seven) to advanced (up to age 18), with training in music theory, sight singing, ear training, music appreciation, music history, vocal training, and performance skills. Attendance at a
weeklong summer camp at Fort Flagler State Park near Port Townsend is required for some levels.
Auditions are held by appointment year-round. No previous musical experience is necessary for children up to age 12. Children over age 12 with prior musical training may also audition.
