The ceviche tostada is certainly the best tasting in town, and for $2.99, it's also one of the best deals in town. Children will probably choose the chicken burritos, the cheese quesadillas, and the wonderful French fries. But the menu is full of delicious fish dishes and all the other traditional Mexican favorites, served with rice and beans, of course, and plenty of chips and salsa. The walls are full of awards and rave reviews; this is a popular place, and it can get crowded. Seating is casual; high chairs and boosters are available. Patrons order at a counter, and servers bring the food when it is ready.
getting there:
Take the Alameda Street exit off the 101 Freeway, turn right on Commercial Street and left on Alameda. The restaurant is on the corner of Alameda and 1st Street, in Little Tokyo.
