Each year since 1977, Sever and Sharon Peterson have been sculpting elaborate designs into their enormous corn field each fall, with themes ranging from politics to the Titanic.
Alongside the corn maze, said to be the largest in the country, visitors will find a fall festival featuring a corn pit, petting zoo, live music, straw bale maze for younger kids, and a pumpkin slinger. Kids can pick up a scavenger hunt challenge to complete in the large maze - if they find all six "Sever"s, they're eligible for a prize drawing.
In inclement weather, call the maze hotline (952.974.5000) to ensure the site is open.
Parties: Let the worker at the ticket booth know you're bringing in a birthday party (no reservations are required) and get $2 off admission for each person in your group. Presents may be brought in, but no outside food except for birthday cake. Children must be supervised.
